GEOMYTH is a Celtic Metal project from Ireland. This project blends many different styles of Metal, Orchestral and European Folk music, in particular, the traditional music of Ireland. The project consists of main music writer Vancole, and the incredible vocal talents of Colin Callanan and Ronan O 'hArrachtain.
Untold Visions EP- Release date 29th Sep '24
The debut EP UNTOLD VISIONS was recorded between 2013 and 2018. Set for release in 2019, it was recommended by vocalist Colin, to delay the release of the EP until such a time that the Full Length Album was nearing completion to avoid such a long time between releases. Untold Visions contains 3 tracks that give a taste of what the full-length album will be like. Finally, the EP will be out on 29th September 2024. There were a number of reasons why it was not released soon in 2024, but finally it's ready.
- There will be first a Promo Video released on 15th Sep'24
- All 3 tracks will be available on Bandcamp on 29th Sep'24.
- Also on 29th Sep, there will be two lyric Videos released. Transcend Your Storm and Delusions of Your Flames.
- Untold Visions should hopefully be on all the streaming platforms in the following days after Sep 29th.
Full-Length Album (still untitled)
As of September 2024, this 10 track album is musically 95% complete with only vocals from the two guys awaiting completion. This album has taken so far, almost 5 years to get to this point. It has been very challenging to record and produce this album, trying to get Death/Black/Power Metal to blend with Epic Cinematic orchestrations and Irish folk music. But we are nearing the end of the process. But probably realistically looking at Spring 2025 for release. Lots of updates on the album will be given right up to release, so please keep in touch.
May 2026 The Debut album is fully recorded, editing finished and right now, we are just prepping the whole album for the Mix/Master engineer. Hoping to have the fully mixed/mastered album by end of June. The first single is about 7.5mins long and it will be called ASTRAL DISPLAY!!! Hopefully Astral Display will be out in July with one more Single following up, before the full album-release. Keep in touch.
